Traveling to exotic locations can be a bit daunting as a vegetarian, vegan, or just anyone trying to incorporate a more plant-based lifestyle into their daily lives. I was certainly intimidated during the beginning of my travels to foreign countries about whether I would be able to find reasonable options to eat other than a salad. If you feel the same, look no further.
My name is Hayden and I am a vegetarian travel blogger who has a strong love of non-salad veggie foods and a stiff martini at the end of the day. I have been vegetarian for 3 years while trying vegan for about a year of that. I totally stand with veganism and believe it is somewhere I’d like to go back to, but everything happens in due time. I will usually always reach for the vegan item, but as I don’t turn a blind eye every now and then to some cheese or eggs, I cannot call myself a true vegan. I just call myself a veggie.
My passion to start this blog came from doing initial research before a trip I was going to take to Southeast Asia. Aside from HappyCow.com, there was very little highly-quality information I could find. So I figured I’d do my research while over there, and report back for you all!
On my blog, you’ll find restaurant reviews, veggie travel tips and recommendations, and other useful information regarding being a vegetarian on the go. I highly enjoy taking pictures of the different locations I visit, so be sure to follow me on Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook to see any additional content.
